Paul is the founder of Baton Rouge-based software company Anedot that gives political campaigns, non-profits and other causes the ability to collect and manage donations on their website, Facebook and mobile phone. The company helps clients across all states and has helped nonprofit organizations collect donations in 23 countries.
As a small business owner and entrepreneur, Paul understands the many ways the federal government gets in the way of hard work, investment and economic prosperity. Paul is passionate about service and wants to make Louisiana the best place to start a business, educate your children and raise your family.
Paul earned an MBA and Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University’s Manship School and is a graduate of Parkview Baptist High School in Baton Rouge. He is a director and former coach of Baton Rouge Rowing Association and a Life Member of the NRA.
Raised in Baton Rouge by his parents Judy and Steve Dietzel (married since 1981), Paul spent his Sunday afternoons and summers in Livingston with his cousins, aunts, uncles and his maternal grand parents Olga and Allie DuBois (married since 1950). Paul’s paternal grand parents Anne and Paul Dietzel (married since 1944) reside in Baton Rouge retired from a successful career in college football and entrepreneurship. Paul (II) is a Christian and attends Jefferson Baptist and Chapel on the Campus. Paul's faith and his family has played a significant role shaping his values.
